Job Title: Private Client Paralegal
Location: Towcester
Salary: Competitive (DOE)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Towcester, who are looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid Private Client experience who is looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and professional environment. You will play a key role in supporting the department, managing client interactions and progressing a varied caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting Wills, including more complex cases involving property trusts and multiple beneficiaries
Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
Assisting with Estate Administration matters from instruction through to completion
Supporting the preparation of Estate Accounts
Managing day-to-day file administration and ensuring matters progress efficiently
Liaising with clients, providing a professional and empathetic service
Supporting fee earners and the Head of Department with casework and administration
Contributing to marketing initiatives where appropriateThe Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience within a Private Client Paralegal role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proactive, reliable and able to hit the ground runningDesirable:
Experience supporting complex estates or high-value matters
Previous exposure to a busy, client-focused legal environmentBenefits & Package:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch between 12:00pm – 2:00pm)
23 days’ paid holiday plus Bank Holidays, with an additional 5 days unpaid leave available
3 days of annual leave to be reserved for the Christmas period
Holiday year runs January to December
3-month probation period with 1 week’s notice during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter
Life insurance and Health Shield cash plan upon successful completion of probation
Pension scheme with 4% employer contribution (Royal London or equivalent)
