Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager / Site Manager to work on a new build four-storey care home development in the Shrewsbury area .

You will be joining an established site team, working alongside the Project Manager and Site Manager , with responsibility for managing and coordinating the external works package , including the brickwork, external façade and all other associated external works.
A key part of the role will be quality control , including inspecting and signing off completed works, maintaining accurate site records and taking photographic evidence of works as they progress.
The Role
As Assistant Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the external works, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the package is delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
Key duties will include:
Manage and coordinate the brickwork, external façade and associated external works
Carry out quality inspections, sign off completed works and maintain photographic records
Oversee subcontractors, labour, materials and deliveries on a day-to-day basis
Monitor progress against programme and report back to the Project Manager and Site Manager
Coordinate the different external trades and resolve any day-to-day site issues
Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, RAMS and site procedures

About You
You will be an experienced Assistant Site Manager with a proven track record working for a main contractor on new build projects.
Previous experience managing brickwork, external façades and associated external works packages .
Strong understanding of quality control, inspections, signing off works and maintaining site records .
Ability to work to demanding programmes while maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety.
Strong communication, organisational and subcontractor management skills.
SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid at Work .
