Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Remote (UK) £40,000 - £45,000 Are you looking to work for a well-established ground engineering consultancy delivering high-quality geotechnical and geoenvironmental solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support a diverse project portfolio across infrastructure, energy, and development sectors. This is a fully remote role, offering flexibility while working within an experienced and collaborative technical team. The Role You will play a key role in the delivery of geotechnical projects from initial assessment through to design and reporting. The position will involve technical oversight, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to project strategy. Key Responsibilities Interpret ground investigation data and produce detailed geotechnical reports Undertake geotechnical design (foundations, slopes, retaining structures) Provide technical input on complex ground conditions and risk assessments Support and mentor junior team members Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetRequirements Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field Significant UK consultancy experience in geotechnical engineering Strong technical background in ground investigation and design Experience in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, or residential development Chartered or working towards Chartership (ICE or equivalent) Strong communication and report-writing skillsWhat's on Offer Fully remote working with flexible hours Competitive salary and benefits package Clear progression pathway within a growing consultancy Exposure to a wide range of technically challenging projectsIf you're looking for a senior role with autonomy, flexibility, and strong technical exposure, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career
