Graphic Designer

Our client is a well‑established and fast‑growing textile company specialising in high‑quality products for businesses across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join their in‑house studio. Creating high‑quality artwork you’ll work closely with clients, account managers, and the production team to ensure all designs are accurate, print‑ready, and aligned with brand guidelines. This is a hands‑on, varied role ideal for someone who enjoys seeing their designs come to life in print. Reporting to the Sales and Operations Director duties will include: * Creating new artwork and to provide advice, Inc. estimating the time required to complete a job and providing quotes for clients. * Producing new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design * Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work. * Prepare and amend print‑ready files (bleed, crop marks, colour profiles, resolution checks) * Work with client briefs to produce creative, accurate designs * Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print * Perform quality checks throughout the print run and verify that the proper quantity has been printed before cleaning and breaking down the press for the next job * Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists The ideal candidate will have previous experience within Graphic Design, Artwork Design, or similar role creative environment, have excellent communication skills and a portfolio to demonstrate your skills would be desirable. You will have exceptional all-round design skills & a working knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is essential. A visual arts degree or HND could be beneficial but not essential.
