Section Engineer - Civils / Infrastructure

Job Title: Section Engineer - Heavy Civils/Infrastructure - Heathrow Airport Rate: £400-£425 per day (Inside IR35) Contract Length: 6-9 months (strong likelihood of extension) Location: Heathrow Airport, Airside & Landside Job Description: TRIbuild Solutions is recruiting an experienced Section Engineer on behalf of a Tier 1 contractor delivering heavy civils and infrastructure upgrade works at Heathrow Airport. The role covers both airside and landside operations and offers an initial 6-9 month contract with strong potential for extension. The successful candidate will take ownership of a defined section of works, ensuring technical delivery is compliant with design, programme, and quality requirements, while working closely with the wider project team. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day engineering delivery for allocated section of works Oversee and coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with programme, quality, and safety standards Undertake setting out, surveying, and technical checks Liaise with design teams, site management, and client representatives Support production of RFIs, technical queries, and as-built records Ensure works are delivered in line with airside/landside safety protocolsRequirements: Proven experience as a Section Engineer on heavy civils/infrastructure projects Prior experience managing subcontractors is essential Airside/airport project experience highly desirable Relevant degree or equivalent industry qualification Valid CSCS card Airside pass/security clearance eligibility (or ability to obtain)Contract Details: Inside IR35 Umbrella PAYE arrangement Immediate start availableFor more information or to apply, please submit your CV via CV-Library or contact Leon at TRIbuild Solutions directly
