Mainframe Automation Consultant Location: Remote Contract Length: Three - Six Months IR35 Status Outside IR35 Rate: Circa £600 Per Day The Role I am working with a longstanding client who require an experienced Mainframe Automation Consultant to support a major automation migration programme. The role is focused on converting existing OPS/MVS Rules and EXECs into BMC AMI Ops Automation and the successful candidate will bring deep mainframe automation expertise, strong REXX development skills and a proven track record delivering automation conversion projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly specialised programme where your expertise in REXX, Mainframe Automation and AMI Ops Automation will be central to the success of the project. Key Responsibilities Convert OPS/MVS Rules and EXECs into BMC AMI Ops Automation Review and optimise existing automation processes Develop and maintain REXX-based automation solutions Support the migration of critical operational workloads Work closely with technical teams to ensure a successful transition Essential Skills Strong REXX development experience Hands on experience with OPS/MVS and BMC AMI Ops Automation Proven automation conversion or migration experience Strong understanding of Mainframe environments Experience working with Rules and EXECs Desirable Broad Mainframe automation expertise Experience supporting large scale enterprise environments ECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
