Quality/Compliance Manager

Proactive Personnel are currently looking for a Quality/Compliance Manager to start work in Preston, Lancashire on a permanent basis. Role: * Maintain and retain existing approvals including ISO9001, AS9100 and customer-specific approvals * Improve compliance with customer requirements across all relevant processes * Lead internal, external and supplier audits * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across compliance systems * Conduct compliance checks and approvals at customer enquiry and order stages * Implement and maintain regulatory compliance systems (e.g. ethical sourcing, export requirements) * Deliver training and raise awareness to support compliance with customer expectations * Create and maintain documentation to evidence compliance * Monitor associated processes to ensure ongoing conformity and suitability Requirements: * Proven experience managing Quality processes (Essential) * Proven experience in Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems and/or environments (Preferred) * Strong document writing experience to support compliance systems * · Good understanding of engineering processes and technical specifications * Demonstrable experience improving systems, with a focus on compliance management * Proven team player with a collaborative approach * Customer-facing experience * Proficient in Microsoft IT packages (Essential) * Commercial and strategic awareness within manufacturing or a similar industry (Preferred) * Excellent attention to detail (Essential) * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Full UK driving licence (Essential) * Ability and willingness to travel outside the UK The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:00am- 16:30pm and Friday 08:00am- 13:00pm.
