About the role

Working hours are 8am-6pm Tuesday and Friday Key Responsibilities: - Provide individualised support to pupils, including those with special educational needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities as part of the pre school curriculum. - Supervise and support pupils during classroom activities, lunchtimes, and break periods, promoting a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment. - Support the development of pupils’ social and emotional skills, fostering positive behaviour and encouraging independence. - Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom organisation to facilitate effective teaching and learning. - Contribute to the creation of an inclusive classroom atmosphere that reflects the school's values of respect, kindness, and integrity. - Support pupils with their personal care needs where appropriate, respecting their dignity and promoting independence. - Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required, maintaining a professional approach aligned with the school's ethos.
