CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator (Fanuc) Location: Willenhall Job type: Permanent, full-time Salary: £42,000 The opportunity ABS Talent is recruiting a CNC Turner (Programmer / Setter / Operator) on behalf of a well-established precision engineering client working in aerospace and precision machining. This is a great opportunity for a skilled turner to join a quality-focused machine shop producing precision components to exacting customer standards. The role * Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machinery to engineering drawings and customer specifications * Producing precision components while maximising stock utilisation and minimising scrap and waste * Maintaining accurate records on the computer-based stock control system and supporting documentation * Ensuring full conformance to order requirements and quality procedures * Supporting the training of other operatives * Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives About you * Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines (up to 3-axis) * Experience with Fanuc controls (desirable) * Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and cutting patterns * Confident working to tight tolerances in a precision/aerospace environment * PC literate, self-motivated, reliable and numerate * Quality-focused with strong attention to detail * Counterbalance forklift licence (desirable) What's on offer * Permanent position with a stable, established engineering firm * £42,000 * 8 to 5 Monday - Thursday & Friday 8-1 - Day Shifts - 39 Hours * Overtime Regularly Available over 39 hours at Incentive Rate * A quality-focused aerospace and precision machining environment Interested?
