Pay Rate:£30,160 per Annum, overtime available
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire (ST1 5GP)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Minimum Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week

Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join their busy pallet network operation based in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and customer-focused Class 2 Driver looking for a stable role with consistent weekday work and a well-established transport operation.

The Role

As a Class 2 Pallet Network Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries and collections across the local and regional network. You will ensure freight is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Complete pallet network multi-drop deliveries and collections.

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.

Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and efficiently.

Maintain delivery paperwork and electronic PODs as required.

Provide a professional and friendly service to customers at all times.

Adhere to Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and company policies.

Ensure your vehicle is kept clean, safe, and roadworthy.

Working Hours

• 
  
• Monday to Friday

8:00am start time

Minimum 40-hour contract

Saturdays worked on a rota basis (1 in every 9)

Requirements

• 
  
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

Current Driver CPC qualification.

Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.

Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
