A successful global organisation, supplying high-quality moulded plastic components to major OEMs, is seeking experienced Injection Mould Toolmakers to join its busy toolroom team.

Supporting multiple UK sites, you will play a key role in maintaining toolroom operations, ensuring high standards in both ongoing tool manufacture and tool maintenance activities.
£40,000-£43,000, Monday-Friday, 32+ days holiday
As a Toolmaker, your responsibilities will include:
Servicing and repairing injection mould tools, including fault-finding and breakdown response
Manufacturing new tooling and carrying out tool modifications
Operating a range of conventional toolroom machinery
To be successful in the role of Toolmaker, the ideal candidate will:
Have extensive experience in the repair, maintenance, and manufacture of injection mould tools
Be capable of producing high-precision machined parts using standard manual toolroom machinery (e.g. milling machines, lathes, surface and cutter grinders)
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of small hand tools and air grinders
Be able to accurately interpret and work from engineering drawings
Possess strong bench fitting and finishing skills
Be time-served or have significant, proven experience working as an Injection Mould Toolmaker
