Senior Refrigeration Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing and well-established engineering team on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Refrigeration Engineer looking to develop further within a modern and supportive environment. We are looking for a Refrigeration Engineer with strong CO₂ (R744) experience who can confidently work across a range of commercial systems. Key Responsibilities * Service, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems as a Refrigeration Engineer * Work on CO₂ systems (R744), including diagnostics and fault finding as a senior Refrigeration Engineer * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown work * Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards, safety procedures, and best practice expected of a professional Refrigeration Engineer * Deliver high levels of customer service on-site * Participate in the on-call rota when required as a Refrigeration Engineer Requirements * Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer * Strong knowledge of CO₂ refrigeration systems * F-Gas qualified * Full UK driving licence * Strong fault-finding ability as a capable Refrigeration Engineer * Ability to work independently and within a team Package & Benefits * £22.75 per hour * £4,000 annual uplift for CO₂ experienced Refrigeration Engineer candidates * Company van (personal use available) + fuel card + phone * Paid door-to-door travel * Up to 36 days annual leave * Healthcare scheme (AXA or Paycare) * Enhanced pension contributions (up to 5% after 5 years) * Annual bonus potential * Ongoing training and development for the Refrigeration Engineer role * On-call allowance: £150 per rota This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a forward-thinking business working on advanced CO₂ systems and modern refrigeration technology
