About the role

Interim Finance Transformation Lead | 6 Months | Insurance & Mutuals With the weekend looking like a warm one and the weather finally on the up..... I am partnering with a landmark Mutual Society for some heavyweight interim support. They are needing an Interim Finance Transformation Lead. This will be an autonomous role for a professional who can navigate a major period of restructure. I am looking for someone who can step in and bridge the gap between legacy processes and a new, modernised finance framework. The Role This project is centered on evolving the finance function to ensure it is fit for purpose following a group wide reorganisation. You will be responsible for mapping out current state processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing robust reporting controls. Key responsibilities: * Leading the delivery of finance workstreams during a significant period of structural change. * Overhauling month end reporting processes to improve data accuracy and speed of delivery. * Collaborating with senior stakeholders to align finance operations with the new group strategy. * Remediating legacy data issues and strengthening the internal control environment. * Assisting with the transition of outsourced services and ensuring seamless reporting continuity. If you have: * Life, Pensions, or Mutual Society experience. * Transformation expertise (Post-restructure cleanup, refining internal controls, and reporting overhauls). * A "Safe Pair of Hands" approach to driving change and fixing data gaps within a complex regulatory environment. If you are available or coming to the end of a contract and fancy a high profile project, please get in touch
