Glaze Dipper Location: ST1 Stoke on Trent Working schedule: 7am - 3pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 2pm on Fridays (39 hours a week) Rate of pay: £12.71ph Contract type: Temporary ongoing Adecco are looking for skilled and reliable Glaze Dippers to join our client's team who are a leader in their field of ceramics. Previous experience glaze dipping is preferred however we will consider applicants with other ceramics experience too. This role is focused on operating dipping machinery to apply glaze to ceramic ware, ensuring high quality finishes whilst meeting production targets. You will need strong attention to detail for this role and to be confident in reading numbers to accurately measure weights and make adjustments. Key responsibilities: Operate glaze dipping machines to apply consistent coatings to ceramic ware Dip both decorated and glost products in line with production specifications Measure and maintain correct pint weights Use and understand viscometers to monitor glaze consistency Adjust glaze mixes using appropriate chemicals when required Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail throughout the process Follow health, safety, and quality procedures at all times What we are looking for: Basic understanding of pint weights and viscometer use would be advantagous Previous experience with easy fire or vit ware is desirable Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team Please apply with an up to date CV if you are interested!
