The Role: What does it mean to be a Progressive Kids Activity Leader?
As a Wraparound Activity Leader, you will play a vital role as a key member of our on-site team. Instead of running the entire setting solo, you will work hand-in-hand with the Setting Lead to deliver exceptional care and high-quality activities for our children.
This is the perfect role for someone who loves being hands-on with children, leading activities, and stepping up to support setting management without the pressure of overall ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Deliver High-Quality Activities: Lead fun, inspiring, and engaging sports, games, and arts & crafts sessions.
*
Setting Support : Work closely with and support the Setting Lead to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient daily running of the club.
*
Relationship Building: Help maintain outstanding relationships with parents, school staff, and your team members.
*
Safety & Compliance: Maintain excellence by following all company and Ofsted standards to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
*
Child Development: Empower children to boost their confidence, social skills, and fundamental abilities by encouraging them to explore new interests.
What We Are Looking For
*
Experience: Experience within a wraparound care or childcare setting is desired, but not essential. Full on-the-job training will be provided!
*
Attributes: Energetic, a team player, passionate about child development, and great at engaging with primary school children.
Why Join Progressive? (The Benefits)
We value our staff and offer a supportive environment with excellent perks:
*
💰 Financial Extras: Performance-related pay bonuses & optional pension enrolment.
*
🚀 Boost Your Earnings: Opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week doing overtime during School Holidays.
*
👶 Family Friendly: Free childcare for your own children.
*
📈 Career Growth: Monthly CPD (Continuous Professional Development) opportunities, pathways to further education, and clear career progression.
*
🤝 Great Culture: Staff social networking groups and regular team events
