Curriculum Team Leader – Maths
Salary: 48,878 - 67,010 GBP

We are working with a well-established secondary school seeking a Curriculum Team Leader for Maths to drive standards, lead a high-performing team, and deliver excellent outcomes for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role
This is a key leadership position within the school, focused on raising attainment, improving teaching quality, and developing an ambitious and engaging Maths curriculum.
You will:
* Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring consistently high standards of teaching and learning
* Use data effectively to track progress, identify gaps, and implement targeted interventions
* Drive improvements in outcomes across all student groups
* Deliver and embed a high-quality, well-sequenced curriculum
* Lead on assessment, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and impact
* Support and develop staff through coaching, CPD, and regular feedback
* Carry out quality assurance including lesson observations, learning walks, and work scrutiny
* Contribute to whole-school improvement and strategic planning
The role requires a strong focus on accountability, curriculum development, and staff leadership, ensuring all students make good or outstanding progress .
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds QTS and a relevant degree in Maths or a related subject
* Has a proven track record of strong teaching and student outcomes
* Has experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level (A-Level desirable)
* Has leadership experience or is ready to step into a middle leadership role
* Is confident using data to inform teaching and drive improvement
* Can inspire both students and staff, fostering a culture of high expectations
* Is committed to continuous professional development and best practice
