Pay: £30,071.00 – £35,259.00 per year Job Title: Unqualified Teacher – Primary SEMH School (Audenshaw) Role Type: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: September About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Unqualified Teacher to join a Primary SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Audenshaw from September. This position does not require formal teaching qualifications; however, previous experience in a similar setting is essential. You will be responsible for supporting a small group of children up to the age of 6 within a nurturing, structured environment. The role is highly active, with a strong focus on outdoor learning, trips, and hands-on activities rather than purely academic work. The key aim is to build pupils’ confidence, social skills, and emotional resilience, creating a positive and engaging early learning experience. Key Responsibilities * Lead and support a small group of children with SEMH needs * Deliver engaging, activity-based learning both indoors and outdoors * Support emotional regulation, confidence, and social development * Create and maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment * Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet individual pupil needs Requirements * Experience working with children in a similar setting (e.g. SEMH, SEN, behaviour support, youth work) * Strong behaviour management skills * Energetic, resilient, and adaptable approach * A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to making a meaningful difference in young children’s lives
