Static Lift Engineer (Night Call Cover) Location: Harrow, North West London Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent / Night Shift Cover Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Static Lift Engineer to provide night call cover on a key static site in Harrow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who prefers site-based work with reduced travel and a strong focus on maintenance, fault response, and emergency breakdown support during out-of-hours periods. Role Responsibilities * Provide night call cover for lift breakdowns and emergency call-outs * Carry out first-line diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs on lift systems * Support planned maintenance activities where required * Ensure lifts are operating safely and efficiently at all times * Record all work carried out in line with compliance and reporting standards * Liaise with monitoring centres, clients, and escalation teams when necessary * Ensure adherence to health & safety and statutory regulations Requirements * Proven experience as a Lift Engineer (maintenance, service, or breakdown) * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Experience working with passenger lifts (various manufacturers desirable) * Ability to work independently on a static site during night hours * Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements * Full UK driving licence (if required for occasional support travel) Benefits * Static site role (no extensive travel) * Night shift / out-of-hours premium earning potential * Stable, long-term position on a dedicated contract * Opportunity to work on a well-maintained, established site * Supportive engineering environment and escalation backup where needed
