Compliance Advisory Officer

Compliance Officer (Advisory) opportunity working with a market leading insurance broker operating within the Lloyd’s market. You will support the effective delivery of the compliance function, and contribute to the achievement of the firm's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:• Conduct horizon scanning across UK and international entities, identifying and assessing emerging regulatory developments and their impact.• Develop, maintain and deliver compliance training, policies, procedures and governance frameworks in line with regulatory requirements.• Support the maintenance of the SM&CR framework, including regulatory applications and SMF approvals.• Oversee UK and international regulatory reporting, filings and licence renewals, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness and strong data governance.• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, including FCA Consumer Duty obligations and customer outcomes.• Coordinate responses to regulatory enquiries, information requests and supervisory interactions.• Maintain compliance registers, controls and governance arrangements, promoting a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct.• Prepare Compliance Committee and Board reporting and provide support at governance meetings.Key Skills and Experience: • 2+ years’ experience in a compliance function within insurance, London Market preferred.Discipline(s): Audit, Risk & ComplianceJob type: Permanent
