Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer – Design / CAD / Defence / Electronics We are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering advanced hardware systems within a highly regulated technical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in CAD, product development, and engineering drawings to work on complex electro-mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: * Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD (SolidWorks, Creo or similar) * Produce detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation * Support prototype build, testing, and validation activities * Contribute to design for manufacture (DFM) and product improvement * Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams Requirements: * Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar * Experience in mechanical design, CAD, and technical drawings * Exposure to prototyping, testing, or product development * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a structured engineering or manufacturing environment Desirable: * Experience in defence, aerospace, electronics, or electro-mechanical systems * Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product lifecycle This role suits a Mechanical Engineer, Design Engineer, or Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on high-performance hardware systems in a collaborative engineering environment
