Due to some exciting projects, KONE is looking for a Construction Manager to join our Lifts Installation team in Glasgow, Scotland.
ConstructionManager is accountable for managing the scope,scheduleand budget of the assigned projects. Manager acts as the KONE interface to customer and other stakeholders during the project withprimaryfocusoncustomer satisfaction and KONE profitability.
Key accountabilities at the role:
Manage projects from sales/installation hand-over to completion at handover to customer and Maintenance
Responsible for successful project start-up, project reviews, project reporting and facilitating
Responsible for site preparations and readiness,storageandlogistics, and needed resources and tools
Lead and manage the installation team, including subcontractors, plan and ensure sufficient project resourcing and competences, responsible for site operatives’ motivation
Accountable for proactively managing customer communication throughout the project, ensure professional stakeholder management
Accountable for the project’s financial planning and forecasting, cash flowmanagementand revenue management (capitalizing on change order opportunities)
Create andmaintainsafety and security awareness amongst employees and subcontractors in the project. Ensure following of KONE’s and customer’s safety and security policies
Skills and experience:
People management / Leadership
Customer and Sub-contractor Relationship management
Financial project planning, cost control
Excellent health and safety knowledge is essential for this role
DrivingLicence
Lift experience is plus but not mandatory – we are calling for applications from Engineering or Construction industries
