Graduate Scientist

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Scientist to support laboratory research focused on advanced materials for a clean tech, start-up company. This is a lab-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on experimental work and contributing to cutting-edge technology development.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine laboratory experiments to support R&D and technology development.
• Follow rigorous health, safety, quality and environmental standards, including COSHH and risk assessments.
• Plan day-to-day laboratory activities effectively in support of wider scientific objectives.
• Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy experimental and quality records.
• Communicate experimental progress and results clearly, both verbally and electronically.

About You

• Experience working in a laboratory-based environment.
• A degree in Chemistry, Applied Science or another relevant scientific discipline is desirable. xwzovoh
• Experience with experimental planning would also be advantageous.
