This is a hands‑on role for an established support worker ready to step up, or an existing Senior Residential Support Worker looking for a stable, supportive service. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll support children and young people day‑to‑day while guiding support workers, leading shifts, and helping maintain high standards across the home. What you’ll do * Deliver high‑quality residential childcare in line with Children’s Homes Regulations * Provide 1:1 support to children and young people * Act as key worker and support care plans * Lead shifts and support/develop the staff team * Maintain accurate records and reports * Promote education, independence and positive outcomes What we’re looking for * Experience as a support worker in children’s residential care * Confidence leading shifts and supporting staff * Calm, resilient and child‑focused approach * Level 3/4 Diploma in Children & Young People (preferred) * Full UK driving licence (desirable) Working pattern * Full‑time, rota‑based * Early, late, weekend, bank holiday & sleep‑in shifts If you’re a Senior Residential Support Worker passionate about children’s residential care and ready to progress, apply today.
