Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer - Manufacturing / Electronics - Cambridge - £40k We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a leading advanced manufacturing business supporting the communications, defence, space and transportation industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company focused on delivering world-class products within a Lean Manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: + Manage and support Quality Management Systems in line with corporate and internal standards + Lead activities relating to change control, concessions, non-conformance handling and software releases + Conduct internal audits to ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards + Drive Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations using problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and FMEA + Support assembly, inspection and testing of micro-components and precision manufactured parts Skills & Experience Required: + Experience within a Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing or engineering environment + Internal Auditor certification for ISO9001 and/or ISO27001 + Strong understanding of RCCA methodologies, 8D and FMEA techniques + Knowledge of legislative standards including RoHS, REACH and SCIP + Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP + Experience working with electronic products Location: Cambridge Salary: £40k If you’re a hands-on Quality Engineer looking to join a forward-thinking engineering business focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence please apply below
