Team Leader

Production Team Leader Location: Royston Salary: £32,182 (including shift allowance) Hours: Mon – Fri, 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm (Rotational) Early Friday finish    Are you a passionate and hands-on Team Leader looking for you next move into a well-established, supportive manufacturing company? This could be a great opportunity for you!    In a role where ensuring the smooth running of a production department is vital, this role will suit anyone with experience in leading a team within the Manufacturing, Production, and/or Print industry.    What you'll be doing: Liaise with Finishing Supervisor to ensure steady production and efficiency Issue workload to operators and support when necessary Monitor validations Sign off operators work Report machine breakdowns Provide cover for Finishing Supervisor when required Ensure smooth handovers with fellow Team Leaders General production/machining duties involved include: Operate, monitor and maintain rewinding equipment to job specifications Handle rolls of labels as they come off the rewinder, pack into boxes and stack Strict adherence to production procedures and SOP's Follow all safety procedures and SOP's whilst performing main tasks Check label quality and resolve and report any issues To run folding machine/Braille maker/Label applicator when required    What we’re looking for: Proven supervisory experience Experience within a production/manufacturing environment Print industry experience is desirable Enthusiastic, with the ability to successfully motivate a team Quality driven with a keen eye for detail Effective communication skills, both written and verbal GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent) Able to work independently and as part of a team PC literate    Company benefits: 25 Days Holiday (plus Bank Holidays), increasing with length of service Pension Scheme Opportunities for progression Early finish on Friday late shift Supportive, friendly team environment     If you’re looking for a stable role with great people and real development potential, we’d love to hear from you.
