Bid Writer Location: Wolverhampton We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bid Writer to join our team and drive our proposal success. In this pivotal role, you will craft compelling, accurate, and persuasive bid documents that showcase our capabilities and win new business opportunities. Your expertise will ensure that all proposals meet client specifications, adhere to deadlines, and reflect the high standards of our organization. Duties Develop comprehensive bid proposals in response to client requests, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with project requirements Collaborate closely with project managers, and technical teams to gather necessary information for proposals Proofread all bid documents thoroughly to eliminate errors and ensure consistency in tone, style, and formatting Prepare well-structured documents that are professional and easy to navigate Manage multiple bids simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet strict submission deadlines Maintain a library of templates, standard responses, and past proposals for efficient bid preparation Search portals for suitable opportunities Delivering PQQ’s and RFI’s and managing the process from identification to post-submission. Supporting the team in presentations Ensuring portals are kept up to date Analysing and recording feedback on won and lost SQ’s, PQQ’s and Tenders Updating Tender logs as required Requirements Proven experience in bid writing or proposal development within the construction industry Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, persuasive language Strong proofreading skills to ensure error-free documents before submission Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and technical concepts is advantageous Join us as a Bid Writer and play a vital role in shaping our company's future! They will be confident of writing both PQQs and main tenders. They will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
