Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester

A ka Recruitment are proud to be working with a local client of ours to bring you this Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester role based in Wakefield. Working within a busy and clean workshop, you will be joining a forward thinking and established family run business. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with Saturday work 8.30am to 12.30pm. Salary basic starts at £41,500k, there might be negotiations depending on experience Job Duties Include: Servicing and repairs on a range of brands Removal and refitting of mechanical components Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards Ensure all equipment and workshop is maintained and cleaned Carrying out of inspections on a range of vehicles All work that is completed and carried out is within safe working practices Carry out Diagnostics and repairs to the highest industry standards Requirements: Qualified at Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds) MOT Testing licence is essential for this role Own tools Full Licence with no more than 6 points Reasons to apply for this role: Easy working environment with no pressure Excellent Salary Basic Stable and established Joining a thriving main dealership, you will be providing expertise on a volume brand with a loyal customer database.
