At DHU Healthcare, every role matters. Because every moment gives us the chance to make the difference - for patients, colleagues and communities. At DHU Healthcare, our GP Out of Hours service across Northamptonshire plays a vital role in delivering urgent care when patients need it most. Our clinicians work at the frontline of the NHS, providing safe, effective and compassionate care outside of core GP hours.
Within this service, clinicians undertake a varied and rewarding role, including telephone triage and clinical assessment, face-to-face consultations within our bases, and home visiting to support patients who are unable to attend a clinical setting. We support a diverse patient population and are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across the county. With DHU, you will be supported to succeed in your role, your professional development, and your career.
As an Advanced Practitioner (Nurse, Paramedic or Pharmacist) (NMC, HCPC, GPhC) with prescribing rights and advanced clinical skills, you will deliver hands-on care across urgent care settings, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients alongside multi-disciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.
We'll support your health, happiness and future with benefits that put you first: Access to the NHS pension scheme (we'll also honour your existing NHS pension pot and holiday entitlement if you're transferring)

Career growth and development opportunities
From essential training and apprenticeships to supportive leadership and career pathways, we'll help you grow in ways that matter to you. Because when our people thrive, so do our patients and communities.
We're proud to reflect the rich diversity of the communities we serve, welcoming colleagues from all backgrounds. At DHU Healthcare, your skills, ideas and growth matter.
