Job Description: Candidate required: Groundworker Job Type: Temporary Start date: 20/04/2026 Industry: Construction Trades Location: Portslade, East Sussex Rate of Pay: £19.00 - £20.00 Per Hour Time: 07:30-17.00 Level of experience, qualifications & related training*: CSCS, CPCS or NPORS Duration required: 2 weeksJob description : Groundworker required for a growing groundworks subcontractor. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Groundworker to assist our client with a project based in Portslade, East Sussex . Own tools & transport is essential. This contract is Monday to Friday and there may be the option to do overtime. Additional training and a full time contract may be provided for the right candidates. Daily responsibilities will include: Install kerbs & edging Take up Block Paving & Grading Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations Collaborating with other team members to ensure project deadlines are metRequirements for the role A valid CSCS card is desirable References upon request The ability to perform physical manual labour You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.
