Transport Planner

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport Planner for an exciting permanent opportunity in Telford. MUST HAVE MINIMUM 2 YEARS TRANSPORT PLANNING EXPERIENCE * Hours are (Apply online only) (requires flexibility: could be early starts or later finishes) * £32,000-£35,000 salary depending on experience * Permanent position Job overview: * Build daily collection plans together with other transport planners to maximise vehicle utilisation and reduce empty miles. * Plan trunking and pallet network activity, including manifesting, departures, timing, and updates. Monitor the operation live and re-plan quickly when delays or changes hit. * Chase shortages and late collections, update stakeholders, and protect service levels by liaising with drivers, hubs, subcontractors and internal teams. * Use planning data to identify improvements in route efficiency and daily performance, and deliver clear shift handovers. * Very busy operation at times, someone who isn’t going to stress under pressure If you are an experienced Transport Planner who is interested in this permanent vacancy, please click APPLY now
