Commercial Gas Engineer

Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer Location: Edinburgh & Fife Salary: £48,000 per annum Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Mobile Role) Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established and growing FM / Building Services provider covering Edinburgh and Fife. This is a mobile role working across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial sites * Service, repair, and maintain commercial gas appliances and heating systems * Diagnose faults on boilers and associated plant equipment * Ensure all works are completed in line with current regulations and health & safety standards * Complete all relevant documentation and compliance paperwork accurately * Liaise with clients on-site, providing updates and maintaining strong working relationships * Identify and report any additional or remedial works required Requirements * Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer * Valid commercial gas qualifications (COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or equivalent) * Experience working within a mobile maintenance role (preferred) * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Good communication and customer-facing ability * Full UK Driving Licence (essential) Desirable * Experience within FM / Building Services environments * Additional qualifications such as LPG, Oil, F-Gas, or basic electrical knowledge * Multi-skilled background What’s on Offer * £48,000 basic salary * Company van (potential for personal use) * Mobile role covering Edinburgh & Fife * Overtime opportunities * Ongoing training and development * Long-term, stable opportunity within a growing business Working Hours * Monday to Friday * Standard working hours (with optional or rota-based on-call, if applicable) Apply If you are an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer looking for your next opportunity, please apply or get in touch to discuss further
