The below job description will outline this position of: New Business Development Manager – Fire & Security Typically, this person will focus on driving new business opportunities within the Fire & Security sector across Hertfordshire and the Home Counties. They will be responsible for generating new client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and delivering value-driven Fire & Security solutions. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives on building a pipeline of opportunities and achieving ambitious targets. HSB Technical’s client is an established and highly respected Fire & Security systems provider. Duties and responsibilities of the New Business Development Manager – Fire & Security: • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the Fire & Security sector • Build and develop strong relationships with prospective clients, including end users, facilities management companies, M&E contractors, consultants, and specifiers • Promote Fire & Security solutions, including Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm Systems, and integrated solutions • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tenders to win new business • Maintain CRM data, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting • Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery for new clients • Stay informed on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies to provide market-leading solutions Qualifications and requirements for the New Business Development Manager – Fire & Security: • Proven experience in new business development or sales within the Fire & Security sector • Strong technical understanding of Fire and/or Electronic Security systems • Demonstrable success in generating new business and achieving targets • Established contacts within Hertfordshire & Home Counties advantageous • Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills • Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role
