Junior Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer - Inspection Systems (Food & Beverage) We are working with a leading manufacturer of high-speed inspection and quality control systems used across the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors. Location: Central England (Manchester across to Hull down to M4 corridor) Salary: £44,000 basic | OTE £55,000+ (overtime) | Company vehicle The Role: Service, maintenance, and installation of inspection systems (vision, X-ray, fill level, leak detection) Electrical fault finding on high-speed production and packaging equipment PPM and breakdown support across customer sites Customer-facing role within manufacturing environmentsRequirements: Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering (essential) Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on training Strong interest in fault finding and developing technical skills Any experience in food, beverage, packaging, or pharma beneficialWhat's on Offer: Comprehensive training programme including regular trips to Germany Clear progression pathway into senior engineering and specialist roles Ongoing support and development within a structured engineering team Overtime available to achieve £55k+ earningsThe Ideal Candidate: Looking to build a long-term career within a specialist OEM environment Motivated to learn and develop technically Comfortable working independently after training, with support available Open to travel and occasional overnight staysWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
