Deputy Home Manager | Elderly Care | Surrey Stephen James Consulting is partnering with an established elderly care provider in the Surrey area to recruit an experienced clinical leader for a well-run nursing home setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care within a compliant and well-structured service. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager with daily operations, clinical leadership, and maintaining exceptional care standards. Key Responsibilities: * Support overall leadership and smooth day-to-day running of the home * Ensure safe, effective, person-centred care delivery at all times * Provide clinical guidance and leadership to the care team * Maintain full compliance with CQC and internal governance standards * Oversee staffing, rotas, reporting, and operational performance * Support service development, occupancy growth, and quality improvements * Lead, mentor, and supervise staff through ongoing support and appraisals * Step in as Home Manager when required Requirements: * Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with active NMC PIN * Strong background in elderly care within a senior clinical or deputy leadership role * Good knowledge of CQC requirements and clinical governance * Experience in dementia or older people’s care settings * Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills * Ability to motivate teams and maintain high standards of care This role offers a salary of: £55,000 – £60,000 + benefits If you are interested in applying for this role, please click “Apply Now” below
