Senior Building Services Engineer Location: Kent (Hybrid Working) Salary: Up to £68,000 DOE Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Building Services consultancy for an experienced Senior Building Services Engineer to join their talented team in Northfleet. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical, Electrical or MEP Building Services Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality Building Services projects, mentoring junior engineers and working closely with clients to provide innovative engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services projects. Produce and review engineering drawings, schematics and calculations. Develop designs using AutoCAD and Revit. Ensure designs comply with current UK Building Regulations, British Standards and CDM Regulations. Coordinate designs with other engineering disciplines. Attend client meetings, design reviews and technical workshops. Respond to technical queries, RFIs and contractor information requests. Support, mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the engineering team. Assist with project planning, programme management and maintaining project budgets. Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting future business development opportunities. About You To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have: Experience working within a Building Services consultancy. A strong background in Mechanical, Electrical or MEP Building Services design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit. A good understanding of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and CDM Regulations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers. Membership of CIBSE (ACIBSE or MCIBSE) or progress towards professional accreditation would be advantageous. What's on Offer? Salary up to £68,000, depending on experience. Flexible hybrid working.
