We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and people-focusedHR Officerto join a busy and growing organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional, or someone currently working towards theirCIPD qualification, to take on a varied and rewarding role with genuine opportunities for career development.
Funded CIPD Level 5 training is available, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your professional expertise and progress towards a wider HR position.
The role
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide a comprehensive HR service and become a trusted point of contact for staff across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinatingend-to-end recruitment, including creating adverts, shortlisting, arranging interviews and completing pre-employment checks.
- Managingnew starter induction and probationprocesses.
- Acting as a friendly, approachable and professional point of contact for employees.
- Supporting managers withabsence management, return-to-work meetings, occupational health referrals and attendance plans.
- Monitoring staff absence and producing regular reports.
- Organising trigger-point meetings and preparing relevant HR correspondence.
- Maintaining accurate and confidentialemployee records.
- Supporting maternity and paternity processes, including risk assessments.
- Coordinatingexit interviews.
- Supporting workforce reporting and ensuring key deadlines are met.
- Assisting with HR meetings, note-taking and documentation.
- Supportingstaff wellbeing initiatives and events.
- Contributing to recruitment, professional development and effective staff management.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working inHR.
- Holds, or is currently working towards, aCIPD qualification.
- Has experience supporting recruitment and pre-employment checks.
- Has a good understanding of HR procedures and processes.
- Is highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
- Has excellent communication and administrative skills.
- Is confident handlingsensitive and confidential information.
- Builds positive relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
- Is approachable, professional and solutions-focused.
- Is keen to develop their HR career and take on increasing responsibility.
