Salary: £600 - £700 per day
Hybrid: 1 day in the office
Restructuring Employee Relations Workforce Restructuring managing global change and restructuring programmes across multiple employing entities, supporting the shaping of the workforce to meet long-term objectives, improve business performance, optimise costs, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations. The function aims to deliver a simple, efficient, and insight-led Workforce Change & Restructuring service while maintaining a strong risk and control environment.
Overall Purpose of the Role
The role holder will support the Workforce Change and Restructuring delivery model across multiple entities and will be assigned projects across various business areas and locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving and supporting allocated change programmes.
- Leading the HR workstream for initiatives such as restructures, LEE transfers, outsourcing, insourcing, new site set-ups, and cross-entity/global change projects.
- Partnering with in-country HRBPs, Employee Relations teams, and specialist HR functions as required.

Key Skills Required
- Strong and demonstrable experience in workforce change and restructuring.
- Experience managing or partnering with unions, union representatives, or operating within highly unionised environments.
- Experience leading union and works council consultations.
- Workforce consultation and redundancy programme experience.
- Experience delivering TUPE-related projects/programmes.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale or multiple concurrent change programmes.
- Experience delivering change programmes internationally.
- Strong understanding of current employment legislation.
- Excellent project management, change management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience operating within highly matrixed organisations.
- Strong awareness of cultural and geographic sensitivities.
- Strong analytical and data management capability.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data reconciliation, formulas, and managing large data sets.
Essential Experience
- Technical expertise in consultation processes, union engagement, redundancy programmes, and employment law compliance.
- Strong programme and project management capability, including governance, tracking, and reporting.
- Proven ability to structure, run, and monitor complex programmes. xwzovoh
- Advanced Excel capability covering data manipulation, reporting, merging data sets, and quality checking large volumes of information.
