About the role
We are working in partnership with a national MEICA contracting organisation delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK water sector. Due to sustained growth and a secured programme of works within the North Wales region, they are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to support delivery across Clean Water and Wastewater frameworks.
The role will involve the installation, refurbishment, and commissioning of mechanical plant and associated equipment across Sewage Treatment Works (STW), Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW), and Pumping Stations.
Candidates should demonstrate:
* Proven experience within the wastewater sector desirable but not essential.
* Strong understanding of mechanical installation tolerances and QA requirements
* Experience working under CDM regulations
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* SSSTS or CSCS (skilled worker)
* Confined Space and EUSR Water Hygiene – desirable
This is a hands-on site-based role working on live operational assets, requiring a strong safety-first mindset and the ability to work to programme within a regulated infrastructure environment
