Technical Accountant

Adapro Talent Partners are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a highly acquisitive, Milton Keynes based multi-site organisation who are looking to recruit a Technical Accountant, on a permanent basis. The Technical Accountant is a newly created position as a result of continued growth and expansion, and they will support the Group Technical Accountant in delivering high-quality statutory reporting and technical accounting across the UK Group. This role will be responsible for preparing statutory financial statements, researching accounting matters, drafting technical accounting papers and accounting policies, and supporting the accounting work associated with acquisitions, restructures and other non-routine transactions. Key Responsibilities will include: Statutory Accounts * Prepare statutory financial statements under FRS 102 for individual entities and, where appropriate, consolidated groups. * Ensure that financial statements comply with applicable accounting standards, Companies Act requirements and UK Group accounting policies. * Prepare or update significant statutory disclosures, including those relating to leases, financial instruments, provisions, related parties and business combinations.
