• £40.44 per hour via Umbrella
• 12-month initial contract
• Full time on-site in Belfast
• 36-hour week
• Must be eligible for BPSS Clearance

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a leading engineering organisation delivering complex infrastructure and facilities projects across highly regulated environments. They are known for driving high standards in safety, quality, and technical excellence across large-scale programmes. Due to continued investment in capital projects, they are looking for an experienced Building & Construction Project Leader to join their team.

THE BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION PROJECT LEADER ROLE:

• Leading end-to-end client-side construction projects from feasibility and design through to completion and handover
• Coordinating and driving alignment across internal and external multi-disciplinary project teams
• Developing and maintaining detailed project delivery plans, CAPEX business cases, and risk & opportunity registers
• Managing budgets and controlling expenditure to ensure efficient use of resources
• Ensuring all project documentation is accurate, compliant, and maintained throughout delivery
• Upholding strong Health & Safety standards across all project activity
• Identifying, managing, and escalating risks with effective mitigation strategies
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels

BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION PROJECT LEADER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Proven construction sector project management experience (client-side experience essential)
• Strong ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-moving environment
• Experience translating client briefs into detailed construction scopes of work
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems and their lifecycle
• Strong knowledge of the full construction project lifecycle and delivery processes
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Highly organised, proactive, and xwzovoh able to demonstrate strong leadership capability
• Collaborative team player who integrates well within established project teams

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Degree/HND in Construction, Building Services or equivalent experience
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CIBSE, IMechE, IET)
• Competent using project management tools such as MS Project and G Suite
