We are thrilled to be partnered with our client, a reputable brand in the Football industry, as they continue to build out their Marketing function with this next hire – Marketing Manager/ Campaign Manager.


With the support of the wider Marketing, Digital and Design team, you’ll take responsibility for the planning, execution and optimisation of integrated Marketing campaigns.


Digital channels: Social Media, Email, Web and Paid Media. (channel experts in house)


Areas of focus: fan engagement, ticketing, membership, hospitality and retail. As well as the bigger picture commercial initiatives.


Important to share at application stage: previous marketing experience within football or the wider sports industry, or demonstrate a genuine, in-depth passion for football and fan culture


Key responsibilities include:

Campaign Strategy & Delivery

  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive engagement, revenue, and brand awareness across key audiences

Fan Engagement & Growth

  • Create innovative initiatives to deepen fan loyalty and interaction, using digital content, competitions, and interactive experiences

Data & Performance Analysis

  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse key metrics, and produce actionable insights to continuously improve effectiveness and ROI

CRM & Audience Development

  • Utilise CRM systems and data insights to build audience profiles, segment fan groups, and deliver personalised, targeted campaigns

Budget Management

  • Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring strong return on investment and efficient allocation of resources

Industry Insight & Innovation

  • Stay ahead of trends in digital marketing and the sports industry, bringing fresh, forward-thinking ideas to campaigns

Safeguarding Commitment

  • Promote a culture xwzovoh of safeguarding and wellbeing, maintaining professionalism and appropriate boundaries at all times


Skills & Experience I’m looking for:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, with a focus on campaign delivery (channel experts in house to manager delivery)

Broad multi-channel campaign/ platform experience

Experience within football or the wider sports industry is important here, alternatively, a demonstrable passion and deep understanding of football culture is essential

Knowledge of ticketing and retail systems within a sports or events environment is ideal

Experience with CRM platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics)

Proven experience working within and managing teams
