Are you a hands-on, software-biased Senior Project Manager with the engineering credibility to hold your own in a room full of scientists, software engineers, and PhDs? A cutting-edge Oxfordshire-based technology start-up needs a delivery-focused PM who can take ownership from day one, drive things forward without being steered, and just get things done.

A pioneering technology company developing proprietary, industry-leading solutions where complex algorithmic software is at the heart of everything they build. Their software powers the hardware they manufacture and ships into some of the world's most sophisticated manufacturing environments. The Role:

This is a software-orientated Project Lead position - you'll be managing complex, algorithm-heavy software development projects across both internal engineering teams and external development partners. The software you'll be delivering integrates into hardware products, so there's a manufacturing feel running through it too.

You'll join a team of three other Senior Project Managers / Project Leads, with around 80% of your workload customer-driven and the remaining 20% internal — but both held to the same standard of delivery and the same level of gusto.

What You'll Need:

• A strong engineering-bias degree — Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Nanotechnology, or similar
• Proven Senior PM / Programme Manager track record across multiple companies and sizes — including start-up environments, not just corporate
• Solid experience managing software-orientated projects, ideally algorithm-heavy or technically complex
• The ability to talk software engineering confidently — you don't have to have coded, but you do have to hold the conversation
• Experience overseeing both internal dev teams and third-party development partners
• A track record of delivering in high-pressure, high-reward environments with real accountability
• The presence and credibility to engage scientists, engineers, and founders as equals
