Burton-on-Trent

Full-time position with the potential to become permanent.

£14.50 or £16.25 per hour.

Our client based inBurtonrequires a Class 2 (Cat C) driver to join the team on a temp-to-perm contract.

You will be responsible for the timely delivery and offloading of goods to their retail stores around the country, driving a Class 2 Rigid vehicle. This role isMon-Friwith 1 overnight stay every fortnight.

Start times vary between 02:00 and 06:00 in the morning.

Duties

• Delivering a variety of retail products to different locations across the UK.
• Completing 5 to 7 deliveries per shift, depending on the daily schedule.
• Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Handballing cages off the trailer using the tail lift.

Pay

• £16.25ph (PAYE Advanced Inclusive of holidays)
• £14.50ph (PAYE Accrued Accrued holiday)

Requirements

• HGV Class 2 (C) licence with a minimum of 1 years experience
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card
• Able to physically fit as handballing of cages will be required
• Professional Manner
• Safety Focused
