RE Teacher - Slough - September 2026

Quantum Scholars are working in partnership with a "Good" Ofsted-rated secondary school in Slough, Berkshire, who are seeking a dynamic and passionate Religious Education Teacher to join them from September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. This role would suit an ECT or someone who is relatively new to teaching. The school takes great pride in fostering positive relationships across the entire community, with strong behaviour and a supportive learning environment throughout. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging RE lessons to students of varying abilities, ensuring strong progress for all learners Develop a curriculum that promotes critical thinking, reflection, and a deeper understanding of world religions and ethical issues Mark and assess student work, providing clear and constructive feedback Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive, respectful classroom environment Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum development, and teaching strategies Attend parents' evenings and school events as required Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for all students Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Experience teaching RE up to A-Level (11-18) Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage a range of learners A genuine passion for delivering an inclusive and thought-provoking RE curriculum Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to wider school life Right to work in the UK If you would like to learn more about this exciting opportunity, please apply via this advert and one of our consultants will be in touch
