Solar Roofer – Permanent Role £48,000 + Bonuses Coverage Areas: IP / CO / CM / CB / PE The Role We are seeking an experienced Roofer to join our growing renewable energy team, specialising in Solar PV installations. This is a field-based role covering East Anglia and surrounding regions (IP, CO, CM, CB, PE), working across both domestic and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities * Install mounting systems for Solar PV panels on pitched and flat roofs * Safely remove, adapt, and refit tiles/slates during installations * Ensure all roofing work is fully weatherproof and structurally sound * Work alongside electricians to support efficient Solar PV installations * Carry out minor roofing repairs related to installations * Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety * Follow all health & safety procedures, including working at height Requirements * Proven experience as a roofer (domestic and/or commercial) * Solar PV installation experience (preferred but not essential) * Confident working at height across various roof types * Valid CSCS card * Full UK Driving Licence * Strong attention to detail and work ethic * Ability to work independently and within a team What We Offer * Salary of £48,000 per annum * Performance-related bonuses * Company vehicle / fuel card * Overtime opportunities * Training in Solar PV installation and renewables * Long-term career progression within a rapidly growing industry Location Field-based role covering: Ipswich (IP), Colchester (CO), Chelmsford (CM), Cambridge (CB), Peterborough (PE)
