We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our clients operations on a temporary basis.

The job youll do

• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a range of production equipment, with a strong focus on hydraulic systems and electric furnaces.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
• Work with PLC-controlled machinery.
• Ensure minimal downtime and respond to breakdowns.
• Follow health & safety procedures.
• Complete maintenance records.

About You

• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have followed a recognised Engineering apprenticeship.
• Health and Safety knowledge in an Engineering environment.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
