Bus Mechanic – Wimbledon Area £27.00 – £30.00 per hour | 4 Days On / 4 Days Off A leading and well-established bus operator is seeking a skilled and reliable Bus Mechanic to join its engineering team based in the Wimbledon area. The Role: As a Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of buses to the highest safety and performance standards. You’ll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are roadworthy, reliable, and compliant with all regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing * Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults * Perform MOT preparation and general repairs * Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards * Maintain accurate records of work carried out What We’re Looking For: * Previous experience as a Bus Mechanic, HGV Technician, or PSV Engineer * Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred) * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Commitment to high standards of safety and workmanship What’s on Offer: * Competitive hourly rate: £27.00 – £30.00 * 4 on / 4 off shift pattern for excellent work-life balance * Overtime opportunities available * Modern workshop and fleet * Ongoing training and development If you're a motivated and experienced mechanic looking for a rewarding role with a respected company, we’d love to hear from you
