ABOUT THE CLIENT


Our client is a globally recognised engineering and technology organisation delivering complex systems within the aerospace, defence and advanced technology sectors.


They are currently seeking an Electronics Testing Technician / Engineer to support the installation, configuration and testing of critical electronic systems and subsystems, ensuring they perform according to technical specifications.


This role will play a key part in supporting system verification activities within a highly technical testing environment.


THE ELECTRONICS TESTING ROLE


As an Electronics Testing Technician, you will support the preparation and execution of system and subsystem testing activities. You will install test equipment, perform testing procedures, and ensure systems behave according to defined specifications.


You will also play an important role in preparing test facilities, calibrating sensors, conducting first-level quality inspections, and troubleshooting issues identified during testing. Accurate documentation and reporting will also be essential to support project delivery and technical validation processes. xwzovoh


ESSENTIAL SKILLS


  • Experience working within electronics testing or system testing environments
  • Strong understanding of system testing methodologies
  • Experience using RF testing tools such as RF simulators and Spectrum Analysers
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting and fault investigation
  • Experience preparing test documentation and reports
  • Ability to organise and manage testing activities against project timelines
  • Strong attention to detail and quality inspection capability


DESIRABLE


  • Experience within aerospace, defence or complex engineering environments
  • Experience with sensor calibration and test facility preparation
  • Experience tracking defects or anomalies through to resolution
