We are looking for a passionate and reliable Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a lovely country pub with rooms in North Yorkshire.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys fresh food, busy services and being part of a small, friendly team. You will support the Head Chef across all areas of the kitchen and help keep the operation running smoothly day to day.
The role is hands-on and varied, covering prep, service, kitchen organisation, team support and maintaining consistent standards.
This would suit a Sous Chef who enjoys quality pub food and wants to work in a welcoming, food-led business with a strong local reputation.

Strong Junior Sous Chefs also considered
Fresh food background
Good all-round kitchen skills
Confident supporting service and prep
Able to keep standards high under pressure
Good understanding of hygiene and food safety
Positive, reliable and hardworking
Comfortable supporting junior team members
Team-focused with good communication skills
The Role Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen management
Prepare and cook fresh food to a consistent standard
Help organise prep and service
Maintain a clean and well-run kitchen
Support ordering, stock and food quality checks
Train and guide junior chefs where needed
Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth service
Step up and support kitchen leadership when required
