HGV Class 1 Driver - Weekend Shifts

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver Location: Maidstone Basic Salary: £19.00 to £30.00 per hour Employment Type: Temp ongoing We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver Double Decker for a full-time, ongoing position. This role involves depot-to-depot trunking work, focusing on safe and efficient transportation of goods using double-decker trailers. Drivers in this role typically handle 1-2 drops per day, swapping trailers at various depots across the network. This role involves trunking work, primarily depot-to-depot deliveries with double-decker trailers. 1-2 drops per shift. Trailer swaps between depots. Start times between 12:00 - 21:00 (must be flexible). Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with legal and company regulations. Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled. Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Must download your tacho with the company, showing at least 1 year of HGV Class 1 driver, driving history with no gaps longer than 1 month. Flexible start times between 12:00 - 21:00. Valid HGV Class 1 driver licence with a clean record (Max 6 points; no DR, DD, DG, CD, BD codes). Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required. Saturday £22.00 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h £23.50 per hour. Sunday £24.00 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h £25 per hour. Bank Holiday £30.00 per hour (all hours). PAYE Rates (After 12 Weeks) : Monday to Friday £19.50 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h £24.00 per hour. Saturday £23.00 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h £24.00 per hour. Sunday £25.00 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h £25.00 per hour. Bank Holiday £30.00 per hour (all hours).
